Hi I am new to all this.I recently found out from the CSA that i may be the father to a 3 year. They have just assumed its me and are carrying on with everything. Does anyone know if im not named on the birth certificate can they make me pay.

hi

As far as I am aware, they are able to do this. You can dispute that you are the father, in which case you would have to pay for a DNA test. If it proves that you are not the father, then you may be able to claim back the cost of the test, and you would not be liable from the date of disputing being the father (up to that point, you would be liable)
