[Solved] Help with the CSA calculator system

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum business and would initially like to say hello and thank you to whoever takes the time to read my post.

I have two children from different relationships and am trying to work out if the number of nights I have my children is calculated together? I have my son who is two, two nights a week and my daughter who is 11, two nights a week, but on different days. Together the nights I have my children is 208 nights a year! This, needless to say, exceeds the maximum number of nights on the calculator system, so essentially I am a full time parent!

It’s a head ache and I just wanted some 'friendly' advice before I contact the CSA.

To all the fathers out there fighting for equality and justice I raise my hat to you.

Hi,

I think they'll say it's treated individually & not based on the total for both children. Be good to hear how you get on & what they say. Hope you have a 'friendly' conversation with them.

Hey, thanks for commenting on my post.

I called the CSA this morning and you are right, each of my child’s days with me is treated as being separate and cannot be combined. Yet again another form of bureaucratic misandry being used to make single dad’s lives [censored]. It wouldn’t be so bad if the operators didn’t sound so smug!

Hey Small

Welcome to the forum

Its sound like you have your hands full - whilst you spend the same number of of days as many full time dads I think you will be treated as two cases!!

But I wish you all the best and stay in touch
