Hi mate

Wow! Big stuff, taking on a 5 week old without her mum around! How are you coping? Is there any chance the mum will be involved at all in the baby's life? I'm sure you're doing great, especially with the attitude you mentioned.

If you ever need to get some tips or just need to chat, this is the place to be.

Well done at taking on the responsibility mate.

That's scary and exciting at the same time. Keep posting on here, I'm sure we all look forward to hearing how you get on, as well as helping as much as possible.

Think that this could be one of the best stories on Dadtalk - at least she felt she could trust you to do a good job and I wish you all the very best.

It's not going to be easy - do you have family to support you?
