Hi all
Was having a read of the forum yesterday and found some interesting topics and discussions (like baby proofing the house) so thought I may as well join and say Hello.

Im Andy
My wife and I are expecting our first child at the end of November (a month after our first wedding anniversay). We have just had the 20 week scan and we know it's a girl, Name already decided to. Partner was convinced it was a boy so we had a boys name sorted so when we discovered it was a girl we had to put our thinking caps back on, Took us a while but we finally settled on one we both like.

Next thing were looking at is a pram for baby, has there been any discussions on these before? We dont have a great budget but she seems to favour a Cossato, At the moment trying to locate a shop that has one in so we can have a play and double check it is what we want.

Andy

Hi Andy,

Welcome to the site mate. Congrats on the pending arrival. There have been a few discussions about travel systems (rofl) and you can find the threads here, here and here.

If these are no good to you - you could always start your own thread.

Welcome to the site mate.

Hi Andy

Welcome to the site and congrats on your imminent arrival.

If you're talking travel systems, we had (and will use again later this year) a Loola. Really easy to push etc etc. Hope you find one that suits you tho

Enjoy the site

Hi Andy

Welcome to Dadtalk and I hope your baby will arrive safely later this year.

The Cossato website looks good. If you input your postcode it will find the nearest Cossato stockists locally.

Thanks for the welcome.

I will look at them threads on travel systems, I guess reading reviews there is always someone who will point out the negatives.

Picked up a crib today and my next job is to prepare spare bedroom, well what was the spare now baby's room

Quite enjoying the build up to the arrival and enjoying the new experience, My wife has started to feel the baby kick quite a lot.

awww, thats cool mate. Glad you're enjoying it. My little blighter is a bit stubborn and every time I go to stick my hand where his feet are he decides to have a rest! That and his placenta is in the way so I dont get to feel too much anyway.

Mind you, not long til November and I'm sure he'll make his presence felt.

Enjoy the build up mate, I'm sure it's there to prepare us mentally and to bond us to them for life as much as it is anything else
