Hi all, new to site and I have multiple questions to ask - or view and read up on, within this site, however I have a question that I would like to be answered initially. I wont go into my situation too much but I have 2 children 6yrs and 1year. I still live with the mother but we are officially seperated as of at least 10months+. We live together because we cant officially afford to move out individually, and because I dont want to lose contact with the kids. However my question is that I would like to take both kids away for a few days. My ex -partner is saying that I can take the eldest but I cannot take her sister who, as I said , is 13 months old. She says she has parental responsibility? surely I do too. How would I go agout getting the holiday time agreeded to? Thanks for now.

Hi

Are you named as the father on the birth certificates?

Whatever the answer, you really need to sort this out if possible through an agreement or mediation - the problem is that if you simply take your youngest away, it's going to make the situation very bad won't help sorting the situation further down the line.
