Hi All,
Well, I was browsing by and thought I'd check in.
I have no major issues so to speak - well, I think not - but just fancy chatting to other dads and sharing experiences.
Life as a husband, father and career focused provider can be challenging - whew all need people to talk to.
Cheers

Hi and welcome.

Like the username - is that Apple's version of an eye bandage? 😆

Hi.

Well, I am a dad. Of a two year old boy - who is for me (and my wife), amazing. Funny, kind and loving. Let's hope he keeps those traits as he gets older.

My story is probably typical. My wife and I have been together for double figures and tried for years to have a child. When we were not successful, we went to the experts and after many attempts at IVF; we finally struck lucky. However, those many years of pain have taken its toll on our relationship (and finances). Life's not like it was (although, 95% of our friends dont know the strain it actually caused) - but the little fella is worth it all. So, I thought I'd see who else is out there that could hopefully help each other out with different perspectives on the challenges of everyday life.....

With that said, where is the general chat place?? You know, the virtual pub - I'll head over there; I'm buying. 😉

Well at least it turned out well and now you and your wife can work on the relationship - all difficult during the early years but will get better

Just post on here and we'll find you!
