Ok I have a question but I'm not sure if this is right thread..... Whenever I call my kids the Ex rants and slags me off and slags my Wife off. She currently calls all the shots! I am at my wits end with it all. I was meant to go see my kids 2 weeks ago but I was ill and told me that she was going to take me to court. She is a a avid pot smoker and smokes around my kids, I'm sure that it is affecting them.Is there anything that can be done? I am happy to go to court but for now I just wonered where things stand with her mouthing off and smoking drugs around my kids?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Can you say why she is going to take you to court? It sounds like that could be to your advantage.

I would suggest that you find an alternative way to contact her, so that you have proof of the conversations (text. email etc). Alternatively - can you record telephone conversations on your phone? If you when you ring her, the first thing you say is that the conversation is being recorded - do this every time. Firstly, it means that you can then use the recordings in court, and secondly, with any luck, she may refrain from the abuse anyway.

Thanks for the heads up about the calls..... I'm not sure when she is going to try and take me to court but I am thinking of just dealing with it and start the process.
