Hey Ratso

Welcome to Dadtalk - you don't need to introduce yourself yet!! Just tell us the film star you most resemble and we will all imagine what you look like!

For me it is Brad Pitt...although my wife may say Chewbacca!!

Ooh difficult one. OK, if you take the rugged charm of Robert Redford and add a little of the 'ageing disgracefully' look of Richard Harris (pre-death) and maybe a soupçon of those boyish good looks of a 1960's Paul Newman (I'm thinking Cool Hand Luke period) ...then I think, in all honesty, I could say I looked a bit like Bill Maynard.

Hey Dads, Dads to be. 😀 I'm new to this kind of thing and i'm only 19. My girls pregnant with our first child and is apparently 6-8weeks. As happy and extatic as i am about having this kid, i'm also a little scared. Would be great if there's other dads to be who can share their experience with me. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Aidan

Oh dear. I have tried and tried to use my Ratso login, but it just keeps on telling me I got it wrong. Can't reset password, can't login, can't do anything ...so I have reinvented myself as Ratso II ...a bit like Rambo II ...but less people will be killed.

Ok - this is getting silly now. Ratso II can't play anymore, since the changes last Thursday. So Ratso III has been born. Pretty much the same as Ratso II, with a few of the best bits of Ratso I, but really, having failed to improve with R-II, should have just bowed out gracefully.

Hi Ratso,

I am really sorry that you have experienced these problems with your account.

Could you send me an email (I will pm u my email address) detailing exactly what has happened and I will get the DadTalk Towers IT Gnomes to have a look into the issue.

In the meantime good luck with RatsoIII

Hmmm ...seemingly Ratso III went through a bit of a slump ...but he's better now 😕 ...introducing Ratso III-D ...see him like you've never seen him before.

Where does all the time go? The latter part of last year got really hard work. 4 children under the age of 10. Childcare during the day. Working when they're out, asleep, in the evenings, at night, in the early mornings. Coffee to stay awake. Wine to go to sleep. Got scared with redundancy. Survived. Mrs Ratso didn't and is now out of work ...oh and loads of other stuff that I shan't bore you with. You can survive a super-high stress life for a little while; but when you accept it as the norm, apparently it is only a matter of time before it gets the better of you 😯 .

Anyways ...a nice break at Christmas has helped to separate the wood and the trees a little bit. I'm half way through an installation for work ...and find myself twiddling my thumbs.

Hello again 🙂 .
