I find its easier to talk than actual action.

Ive never done the green even though i have been offered it many many times. i really do want to pack the drink in.
Get back the gym etc..

I try to give it up but then i wont see Blake or his mam will cancel a meetup or something happens... its too easy.

In a way I'm glad my vice was green as I've never really been a drinker all the men my side of the family are alcoholics so it always put me off, when this [censored] started when my ex told me she was pregnant 15 months ago I started smoking a 1/4 oz a day and was completely out my face all the time.

It was the only thing I could do to blot things out but I started suffering from severe depression, panic attacks and started having suicidal thoughts, I was paranoid and I started getting chest pains thinking I was going to have a heart attack.

this carried on until January this year when I broke down at work and my workmate said "well it's no surprise your ex doesn't want you to be near your daughter because you are a [censored] mess" This hit home big time he said "theres no way I'd let you near my daughter judging by the state of you" He also said what my daughter would think if she found out her dad was a drug addict or had topped himself that would screw her up for life.

I've never touched another joint since that day!

The first thing is admitting you have a problem the next is to go and have a word with your doctor mate.

It's took me 20 years to admit I was a drug addict.

If you started taking steps and seek help I'm sure things will start panning out for you buddy 🙂

Slim some really encouraging and positive words i think you will be a inspirations for many that suffer from addictions i do believe that only people who truly know what it is like to be addicted to these vices really understand what it’s like and are able to help people on a deeper level as they have walked in their shoes , - i think in the future when things are sorted with your girls and you have been clean for a few years you could even look to helping others do as you have done amongst all your other jobs and commitments lol 😉

positive come out of negatives if you let them
