Hello Everyone

Im new to this, just recently separated and going through the pain of not seeing my kids everyday. I am from Darlington and was wondering if anyone on here was from there or new of any groups for dads that meet up on regular basis?

finding it all a bit of a struggle and mind is working overtime so any advice would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Hi and welcome to the site - it is tough and sometimes it is good to meet up with strangers to discuss certain things.

I am sure there are sites for recently separated dads - but remember we are here to listen aswell and it is often easier to put things in writing

Look forward to hearing from you

Hi there and welcome! 🙂

I've had a quick look for you, and the only group I could find in Darlington was a fairly new group for Dads who have been denied contact with their children after divorce or seperation... I dont know if this would apply to you but heres the contact number anyway.... 07582 638075. It might be worth calling for a chat, they might be able to help.

It always helps to talk and theres an awful lot of Dads here that know just how your feeling.

You're welcome Andy!

I found the contact number in the Northern Echo, They had their first meeting at St Herberts Church Hall in June. Of course that may have changed . There wasn't a name given with the contact no.

Good luck with it and let us know if you meet up with the group and how it went.

may be worth asking at the local library (if you still have one) as they often know about such groups.
