hi there just looking for a little advice me and my ex split 3 years ago and i recently moved aprox 80 miles away from her and my son .
i see my son every weekend when i pick him up on saturday and take him back to his mums on sunday. which is quite some travelling . my question is this should my ex help with the travel costs or bring my son to me and pick him up thanks in anticipation

it would be nice if she did, but unless it's specified in a contact order (which I would say is less likely to happen since you moved further away), then there is no obligation for her to do so. If you are spending above £15 per week, then you can make an adjustment to the maintenance you pay if you are using the CSA (or their calculation), though it's not a great deal of money saved
