Hi - I was wondering if anyone knows if I should be paying any maintenance direct to my daughters mother based on the following scenario.
My daughter is 18 and has just passed a 2 year apprenticeship.
She is now going back to college to do an access course to enable her to get the grades she needs to go to uni, while still working part time at the place where she completed her apprenticeship.
I give my daughter money direct but do I now need to pay her mother direct or does this scenario fall outside child maintenance rules?
Cheers
Hi
What's prompted the Q? Is there an open case with the CMS? Has mother asked for child maintenance?
