My Ex-Wife is about to re-marry following 5 years apart. I have never been too concerned about her knowing my level of income and have always paid the CMS payments in full and on time etc. Now that she is remarrying and will be sharing all manor of info with her new partner I am now curious as to what the CMS publish to my ex-wife on the CMS Annual Review letter?
The letter they send to me contains my gross weekly income and then goes on to calculate the payments for the coming year. Does anybody know if the letter that goes to her also shows my gross weekly income or does her letter just tell her what the payments will be?
I am hoping because of data protection the info she receives is much more limited.

I can't remember whether is was the CSA or CMS letter I received that revealed my ex's income (she paid me maintenannce), but to be honest, knowing the amount she paid, and the percentage of income that was due due to number of children, it was a piece of cake to calculate her income, whether it was declared or not.

My wife gets a payment from her ex, and his income was listed on the letter to her explaining what she would recieve, so the answer is yes they do inform the recieving parent, I'm not sure if you would be able to ask that the amount not be listed, but as actd has said she could work it out any way.

Since spoke to the CMS and the call handler advised she "didn't think" salary was disclosed, just the banding you fall into but looking at the responses from you guys it looks like she is wrong.

I have just had a look at the letter my wife had from CMS, and there is a definate weekly gross wage, it is laid out in pounds and pence, so I think you could safely say it's not a banding or it would surely be a round figure, they also state......
.
"Becuase Mr XXXXXXX's gross weekly income is £xxx.xx per week"
.
It may be worth questiong again as I would say you have been fobbed off or given the wrong info.

The RPs letter does provide details of your gross income.
