My wife is a teacher in year 2. During a conversation last night she mentioned she never lets children go to the toilet during lessons. I think she is wrong.

I suppose whether the kids were taking advantage and disrupting the less. Does she give them a couple of minutes at the start of the lesson? If so, then perhaps it's reasonable. Not one I've heard of though.
