My ex lied to the police in order to get me in trouble before obtaining temporary accommodation from the council, after lying to them about domestic violence. Last month I received a letter which she sent to the social services. It contained disgusting lies and insults against me. Last week I received an email from the social worker asking me to provide a copy of my passport for my ex, so that she could make an application for re housing. She needs copy of my passport, because she is an illegal over stayer. Now I am contemplating if I should help this shameless scum or not????

If you and your ex have children together, then you need to think about putting their needs first despite your own feelings towards her.
If you have children and you are likely to want contact with them going forward, your behaviour needs to be impeccable and in the best interests of the children.
