Cafcass Section 7 report - Making my court appeal against suspended contact:

I have managed to get a court date to appeal against the decision to suspend contact and put forward a statement to Magistrates. Hopefully I might be able to use this chance to put some light on all the false accusations.

My questions is, has anyone done this process before during a section 7 cafcass report. The legal clerk at the court was very reluctant to give me this opportunity saying shes extremely doubtful it would change anything!

I have not known it before and good luck if it does work...if it looks like the Court will support the CAFCASS report, you could consider asking for contact at a Contact Centre where at least it could be monitored, but so that you don't go without contact ..just a thought.

I will be asking for that at least. Although I'm obviously hoping to over turn the no contact decision around. The whole process is very UN-informative with little direction! Its the bias against the dad I find incredible to believe.

Best of luck with that....as EnyaM says be prepared to offer supervised contact at a centre if it looks like its not going your way.

As far as the bias against Dads, yes I can confirm its alive and well in the Family Law Courts.
