Hi All,

My ex told our children a few things which exposed them to the conflict between us and in my opinion distressed them.

When I questioned her she said that SS told her to say it.

Over the course of a few mails she stated 3 times that it was the social workers and by name so I sent her mails to the social workers and they have since mailed back denying they told her this and were going to speak with her.

So this is all in mails which I obviously keep.

My question is ; how important is it that I have cought her out blatantly lying about SS and involving our children and exposing them to distress?

Regards,

Dave

Firstly glad you have all this on email.......your kids should be kept un-aware of this "battle" between you and your ex for as long as possible as far as my opinion goes.....but your ex is obviously using this to undermine you in your kids minds. Parental Alienation!

make sure you submit that as part of your evidence to court and i would also be tempted to contact the SS persons supervisor just to make them aware of the situation.....who can you trust really?
The SS shouldn't have said it but you never know what is really being said by your ex to the SS

My ex has also done this to me as my child has come out with various things she has said about why we live apart and what her plans are.

Useful information ref the parent alientation - as she has also done a number of other things in an attempt to push me further away from my child.

Dave mate it will help but I suspect will not change the overall decision.

Where it really might help is the allegations of DV - which should all hopefully be refuted. Did the MARCA (sorry I forget the abbreviation) come back?

Thanks to all for replies.

I did make SS aware and will add this all to the court bundle. SS have acknowledged my concerns and are going to speak to her.

Roy - Regards Marac, I get that evidence tomorrow and have a call scheduled with the solicitor to go over it.

I will probably post on that topic to tomorrow sometime.

This is not the first lie she has been caught out on so it does damage her credibility which would throw doubts on her allegations which went to the marac review.

This is really a case of grinding out each point by point. Frustrating but how it has to be I guess.

Regards,

Dave

My ex has been caught out so many times with lies changing her story and statements all the time….its been great for me as in each and every one somewhere I’ve had email / texts / police notes / statements to refer back on to prove her as trying to deceive/lying to courts.

The best one by far was her allegation of me punching her in the face and having me arrested for it…….her statement to police was I had punched her…..the police reports/notes say no mark consistent with a punch to the face as alleged and the police doctor report a few days later still said no marks or bruising to her face.
Also notes saying she’d willingly dropped charges and wanted me to return to and stay with her that same night of the alleged offence.
Her statement in court at the finding of fact some 18mth later was that she had not told police I’d punched her in the face….this totally contradicted what she had been claiming in her previous statements to court during the contact dispute hearings……and when questioned by me in court she admitted that I’d never hit her…and she said that she’d not told police I’d hit her…….her barrister was trying to get her to check what she was saying as it was not what she’d said in the police statements or previous statements to court…….
Her barrister’s face was pure horror at that revelation as that was all her arguments were based around that one DV claim!

Stick to the truth and expose every lie you can with proof and evidence…..thats why it is so important to have things in writing – texts / emails / letters!
