Hi Bill,
My son is currently, 10. Does that mean we could return to court and appeal the order based on my son's wishes in 2 years?
Thank you.

hi,

if your spending a good amount of time with your child, i would avoid returning to court for a long time. you mention you have 50/50 which i think is very good. see how it goes. you could review the situation in 2-3 years time etc.

be careful about returning to court. there's been some cases where a dad would return, just to secure one extra night with child, and they end up worse off and lost a day etc. sounds like your in a good position, so better not to risk it. if you did return in future, you should apply to vary the court order, not appeal.
