Hi, I have been divorced for several years. One Child (eight) lives with my ex. and I have two (16 and now just 20...He cannot contribute as he is only on a 16 hour work contract. We agreed not to pursue each other for monies for the children seven years ago. However, my ex now has had her benefits changed and has been put on job-seekers allowance.

I have a partner who I marry at the end of this month. Our combined outgoings are only being met by utilising her overdraft facility.
My work contract is 25 hours but generally more is available. The past three months have been unusually busy and my wages have been higher.

The CSA have applied an attachment of earnings order. We will be put into financial hardship when this money comes out. Severe hardship.

I have asked for the decision to be looked at again as indicated on their correspondence.
I have not been acknowledged. The next staged timed response should be appeal but as I have been ignored regarding the decision I am afraid that all will be ignored.

I do not have the money to pay what they demand. I cannot cut back on any of my payments. I am desperate now. I am scared We will lose the house and fall foul of bailiffs and court orders.

please advise, if possible

Graham

If they are not responding write / phone you local MP and explain the situation and ask them to speak to the CSA on your behalf....the CSA tend to recat a little quicker when an MP writes to them so i've heard.

good luck
