I have joint mortgage with my ex partner she moved out 6 months ago
She originally wanted the house sold thinking there was equity in it. I contact three estate agencies and had the house valued and forwarded her the details. However I think there is NO equity in the house and she now realizes this.
I have asked her three times via the solicitor which estate agency she wants and what selling option she wants. I have sent her multiple texts. She does not answer
IF I stop paying the mortgage and in effect hand back the keys to the lender and the house in the end gets sold cheaply. The lender will come to both of us for the difference which will be a large amount. I am thinking can I get costs against her as she is being unreasonable by not selling the house ? Could I somehow sue her ?
the estate agencies need her signature as well as mine to put the house on the market
Im kinda stuck and do not really want to go down the expensive solicitor /court route
any ideas ?
