hi,
have you been denied access to children?
info:
The court may make an ex parte order in exceptional circumstances, such as when the victim's safety is immediately threatened. The court will consider the application without the abuser present, and then hold a hearing to give the abuser notice to attend. The abuser will have 14 days to list the matter for a return hearing, where they can defend themselves and respond to the order. The court will then decide whether to dismiss or discharge the order, or list the matter for another hearing.
