Hi all,
I've scanned through a few threads RE self representing, and I'd like to say that once you have managed to plough through all the jargon, it really is some thing you can do.
I've had three hearings so far, in front of three different Judges, and where I've been in front of these Judges while represented by a solicitor, I have found they can be quite harsh. However, I have not found this from them with me. They have been helpful and recognise the difficulty. I have also found I have made more progress in these last hearings than I did over 4 years with a solicitor! This could be down to the changing nature of my case, it could be down to being in a better position to fully explain the facts...
I was back yesterday for an ex parte hearing, the outcome of which I expected, but the Judge's remarks totally stumped me! In a good way! I'll be back in two weeks time, so we'll see how it goes,..
I just wanted to say never give up! After almost 5 years things may just be looking up! Stay strong Dads!
