Unfortunately mediation has failed, my ex didn't respond to any of the attempts to contact her via the mediators. They are sending my forms out in the post for court, I just hope I have what it takes to self rep, I'm not the best speaker when I'm on the spot. It feels like a weight off my shoulders for the time being but I'm sure I have a bumpy ride ahead, thanks for all your help so far.

...it's a pity that you weren't able to try mediation, but at least you can start to progress things now. Self repping is doable, I'm sure you've read the many stories from our members that attest to that. We will do all we can to advise and support you on your journey through court.
Thanks so much buddy 🙂 It means so much having you guys around it really does 🙂
Hi There,
.
As Mojo has said self representing isn't as bad as you'd think, you will be nervous but once your in the court room, that will soon go, the judges and staff are now used to parents representing themselves and make allowences.
.
When you arrive at court you'll check in and you can ask some advice, not about your case, but about how things work and the process.
.
Preperation is the key, have plenty of notes laid out so that you can access them easily, and we can advise you throughout.

It's daunting at first but I started to enjoy it if I'm honest it felt good standing up there for your own flesh and blood once it's all over you get a sense of pride in seeing it through that will always stay with you I'm so pleased I done it and done it good 🙂
