Philip Davies M.P. is a well known campaigner for Men's Rights. Recently he has been appointed to the Women and Equalities Committee in Parliament. Needless to say this has caused eyebrows to be raised amongst some feminists and female lobbyists.

8th July 2016; Conference - Philip Davies M.P., "The Justice Gender Gap." (reference for Youtube)

Comments he made in his address:-

Quote, " ...it's quite clear the Family Courts are more likely to place children with the mother over the father. This is certainly a massive area where men face very different treatment to women."

Quote. "I really do think people under estimate the effect of fathers having to battle to see their children and facing the inevitable likelihood that they will come off worse because of their [censored]."

Quote, "Many women use their children as a stick to beat the fathers with either because they are bitter about failed relations, for financial reasons or because it's easier for their new partner to take on the role of father to their children."

My wish for Philip Davies M.P. is a quote attributed to Theodore Roosevelt.
" Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far."

Unfortunately the feminist lobby is exceedingly strong politically, I fear he will have an uphill struggle!

Do you mind if I move this into the current affairs, news and topical discussion section, where it's more suited?

I do not mind at all, please move to appropriate section.

It is rare to hear someone who is prepared to put his head above the parapet publically and I thought his acknowledgements of the situation for fathers was to his credit. He was on the Jeremy Vine show (Radio 2) midweek and appeared to be an irritant to many.
