I do not get paid till the last day of the month

But my ex wants me to pay 1st of this month ?

are you paying her through CMS? if so then suggest to stick to whatever payment date was agreed when case opened. you could contact them and ask if you can change payment date.
if private arrangement, then you could inform her you don't have the money yet so can't pay on 1st of the month.
