Final court order CMS amount help

Hi, first of all thank you to anyone who has offered advice to me. I finally got my court order sorted. I am paying a awful lot to me which is £400 per month based on me not seeing my child 0 nights. I know have a court order that states 1 night per week and every other weekend for 2 nights which is 96 nights per year. It also states regards school holidays that amount of nights to be agreed between the 2 parties. It says i can have for upto 2 weeks in any one holiday period. I needed the amount of nights to be over 104 so it goes into the next bracket for reducing the amount. How will the CMS look at this? any advice or what to do would be very much appreciated.

hi,

with my arrangements I have 3 nights every other weekend, and 1 night in the week, every other weekend. CMS put me in Band B, and classed as having kids 2 nights a week on average. I have kids extra during holidays like yourself too. so it looks like you are in the same Band B (104 to 155 nights). you can send them the court order and tell them you will have additional nights during the school holidays, and mention the 2 weeks in summer.

you can log into your self service account, and there is a section called shared care. you can enter 2 nights in there, and submit that for them to review. then you can upload your court order into the portal aswell.

Hi Billy, you have been very helpful to me! throughout the process. I have my calculation wrong it seems, every other weekend for 2 nights and every wednesday night (i get it to 26 weekends at 2 nights = 52 nights and then 52 Wednesdays = 104) plus holidays so yes the 104 or more bracket that is what i need it to be) fingers crossed
