Spurgeons and Dad.Info doesn’t investigate reports of abuse or neglect. But below, you can find advice on who to contact if you have concerns about a child or young person.
Reporting a concern
It can be difficult to know what to do if you think a child is at risk. It’s important to remember that if you’ve spotted things that don’t seem right, others will have too. Speaking up can make sure that child gets help as soon as possible.
The sooner you contact your local children’s social care duty team, the quicker they can act. They’re available 24 hours a day, and can make an anonymous report if that feels safer. If a child is in immediate danger, please call the police straight away by dialling 999.
Report child abuse or neglect to your local council

In sept this year my son left school and is now in full time paid employment as a paid apprentice. The CMS are still deducting from my salary and I cant get any update from them. I have written to my MP , Arlene Sugden and held on the telephone for over an hour numerous times to get told that they will update me in due coursed. I don't have £400 a month to keep bankrolling this especially when I know there is little chance of reimbursement for their complete lack of dealing with this
hi,
Arlene Sugden left CMS. replaced by someone called Simon Hunter. for complaints, better to email correspondence@dwp.gov.uk
also suggest you report changes to child benefit office:
Thanks I’ve done both . It takes so long to get a reply but they keep taking your money
