Has anyone gone to court asking for contact and changed their mind - going for custody or at least 50/50 custoday and did you get it?

I can't recall anyone on here having done that - generally, if someone is going for residence, they know that at the start. Is there a reason for this change though? I would have thought that if you had justifiable reasons, the court would certainly consider it.

I believe there is. Unfortunately I can't go into details too much but things at the last hearing came out about the mothers past that are pretty unsavoury. She has also lied in court, so that proceedings had to be stopped whilst my son is being investigated. My son feels that the child is not in the best place but he has only submitted for contact but would like to be considered for at least 50/50 access.

Can you confirm that he doesn't have a solicitor? If so, we can ask the CCLC for their opinion.
