Are you actually having contact with your children - I know you said you've been granted access through a contact centre, but I'm not clear whether this has started. If so, what are you hoping to achieve in court? You could have a word with your solicitor and see how much you could achieve by representing yourself in the meantime and whether this would affect the work they will do when the funding arrives.

I'm not too familiar with the process but can you approach the contact centre directly and see whether they can take a referral directly from Cafcass or on sight of the contact order? I can't see that your solicitor needs to be involved at this stage.

You have the court order - try to have a word with the contact centre directly to see if they can do anything in the meantime. I'd also escalate it with Cafcass - it seems to me that at the moment, you are self representing, so you don't have a solicitor.
