Advice needed for next court appointment

I have my 4th court appointment on 21/12/2022 and need some advice to challenge Cafcass.

The most recent cafcass report does not support my request for unsupervised visits or joint custody. Cafcass refer to discredited allegations in the report (discredited by medical evidence). Cafcass have also referenced observed visits between my wife and daughter but did not offer the same to me. Cafcass also did not call me at our last booked appointment.

It appears that the role of Cafcass is to validate one parent while supporting the vilification of the other.

What, if anything, can I do to have Cafcass replaced by another agency ?

I have challenged the Cafcass report, made a formal complaint and have asked for the report to be withdrawn until my complaint has been resolved.

Can anyone offer me some advice?

Hi,

Did court ask you to write statement in response to cafcass report?  You can also challenge it at next hearing. Would suggest to ask that there be a clear pathway for child contact, so you can progress from supervised to unsupervised contact, and child staying at your place on weekends/holidays etc. And that way you don't return to court in future.

The court has not asked me to comment on the report. I did copy the court (and MP) into my challenge/complaint.

Can I ask for Cafcass to be removed from the process as I believe they have demonstrated that they cannot be objective.

I am no longer prepared to suffer the indignity of supervised visits. All of the parties currently supervising visits have written character references supporting my application for unsupervised visits and joint custody. The Family Court, in its wisdom, will not consider these references as in their words "the authors are strangers to the court" yet the court allows said strangers to supervise visits, am I missing something here?

The court will not allow me to challenge my wife's demonstrable lies nor will they allow me to use the phrase put to me by a cafcass officer in an allegation from my wife, that I "self harm by cutting myself with a breadknife", this lie was disproven in a letter from my GP to the court (I was forced to waste a valuable GP appointment with this nonesense)

I now face the prospect of never seeing my daughter again and I cannot cope with this thought.
