[Solved] Bankruptcy - CSA under a duty to amend liability?

I appreciate that bankruptcy does not stop an existing CSA debt being due but are the CSA required to adjust their ongoing calculations of amounts due from a self employed person who they know has become bankrupt and they have been advised has lost everything?

The trustee in bankruptcy advised the CSA to stop pursuing the debt as I had no money and made them aware of my position but they did not adjust the weekly calculation. This was in 1999 (!) and the computer carried on for several years pumping out a calculation that was meaningless given my changed circumstances until my daughter left education and went to work.

Since I have been a registered carer for my aged mother since being made bankrupt I have had income of under £100 per month but still get regular statements off the CSA in 2013!

I would contact your MP asap, they can raise a complaint against the CSA as a higher priority than you will be able to do.
