Ive created a message log in excel which Im going to give a whirl.
If anyone has a better one or suggestions please let me know.

can't unzip on my tablet, but if this is a log of messages - when I presented mine to court a few years ago, it was a simple text document of the date, time and message log (transcribed exactly, including spelling errors, obscenities, etc) - the simpler the layout, the easier to read, which is all that's needed - excel should be fine for that purpose.

This looks good to me, as ACTD has said though keep it very accurite with every thing logged as it has been typed.
