Hi , I’ve been split from wife who has my children for a few years , when we split I gave her a fully mortgage free home and also agreed a monthly figure to be paid until my youngest reached 18 years old or stoped attending full time secondary education whichever the later ( to keep the csa off my back and do the right thing ) this was agreed with a court order , so my question , my son now 18 goes to college where he’s doing a btec level 3 course ( apparently classed as full time all though only 16 hours a week !) he also has a part time job , is college classed as secondary education or not ??
many thanks

college course can be classed as full time education, it depends whats happening with his child benefit status. more info:

@ragnar93 In the UK, child maintenance usually ends on August 31 of the year a child turns 16 and leaves education or training. However, if the child stays in approved education or training, maintenance can continue until they turn 20.
