Hi everyone, I'm after some advise and a definite answer to my query. My daughter is 17 atm and finished her year at college. She isnt goin back and is now looking for a job. So she won't be in any education from now on but it's before her 18th birthday. I'm co fussed at to when I'm no longer required to pay child maintenance. Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Are you paying through child maintenance? If so you can contact them and report change. Also ask to check if child benefit case is still active? If it's still open, they will likely ask you to carry on paying. Child maintenance should stop when child leaves full time education.
