Hi every one I posted a while ago about going through court and getting the interim care order for my daughter. The mum got supervised alternative weekend contact held at my exs mothers house. All was going well. Until last night and my daughter came home and showed my wife the hand print on her leg that was bruising done by her grandad she was supervising the contact. We're now waiting for social services to call back and cafcass is going to get in contact with the judge. Stopping contact completely is now being discussed as 48 hours later the Mark's are still there.

Hi there

Thank goodness your child was brave enough to share what happened to her. You have done the right thing by contacting the authorities and it sounds like they are taking prompt action to safeguard your daughter in future.

How is your daughter, this will have been distressing for her, it might be a good idea to talk to her school about it, so that they can keep an extra eye on her and offer some pastoral care; some one she can talk to about any worries she has.

All the best

Well today has been all go, every one is taking this as serious as us. The school were great. We had a meeting with the deputy head. Lil one has spoke to her teachers who had also reported it to social. Social have been out this evening and are coming back tomorrow with a detective to photograph the marks. All contact is to be suspended until the courts say it can carry on. Cafcass is going to be calling again tonight or tomorrow.
