[Solved] Joint mortgage

Partner left family home 4 months ago. We have joint mortgage with little or no equity in the house. She originally promised to simply sign over the house to me but now I have received texts and solicitor letter saying she wants house on the open market

I contacted three estate agencies all very similar so got one who knows her and to ring her giving all the details including the different selling options. She wanted these details sending to her solicitor which my solicitor then did the day later. That was 2 months and we have sent 3 reminder letters to her solicitors with no answer.

The estate agency was ready to market the property 2 months but will not get involved unless she gives her permission which she has not

Enough is enough now and I want to move on with my life so I'm about to stop paying the mortgage and simply move to my parents. I don't think it will do any good but I'm going to send solicitor letter to the building society explaining i tried to sell the property to pay back most if not all of the money we owe and send copy to her solicitor.

She's been awkward about everything else but i think this is beyond a joke now ! And I'm completely fed up of the situation !

Perhaps a letter to her solicitor telling them that unless you hear from them by return you will have no alternative but to vacate the property and stop paying the mortgage repayments. Point out that this would blacklist both of you for a future mortgage application and so to avoid that she must act and give permission for it to be sold.
