Is the mother wanting to take them live abroad or on holiday?

if to live abroad then maybe someone who has been through this on this site will have better advice than me.

Take a look at the guide to representing yourself in court at the top of the section by Yoji.

make notes of what you want to say so that you don't lose your train of thought in the "heat" of the hearing....preparation is key.....list your reasons etc... and please remember this has to be child focussed....whats best for the child is what the courts should be looking at.
and for a child to have a loving father a part of their life is considered to in the childs best interests depending on any safeguarding issues.

there will be others on here with much better advice.....good luck

This may be too late now, but with a days notice, a solicitor is going to be no use now anyway. Look at representing yourself, but you can always appoint a solicitor later or come back on here and we can get legal advice from the CCLC if you don't have a solicitor then.
