Hi, a mate of mine has just split up from his g/f

He would like to know what would be best in the eyes of the law / courts (if it came to that)

1: To have a 2 bedroom flat for him and his daughter.
or
2: Live in a nice 4 bedroom shared house where he and his daughter would have a room each, nice gardens etc.. where the other person has kids.

Thanks for any input 😉

Peace out

Hi
If it goes to court where ever he lives will be checked by caffcass, the court social worker, they will do police checks on the address. If he has a room solely for his child then I cant see anything wrong with either arrangements. Due to him being newly split it might be nice for him to have the support and nice for his child to have other children around. If the ex kicks up a fuss who he is sharing with then that could cause friction and she could make things difficult
