Just a little something that really winds me up.
I work for a very large company and we have KYC info (Know Your Customer) one thing we capture is occupation and I always wonder but also hate these 2 Job roles that seem to populate for woman.
Occupation: FULL TIME MOTHER
Occupation: HOUSEWIFE / STAY AT HOME MUM
I have my son living with myself now and also work full time so it winds me up to know what a full time mother is as most days children are in school anyway, it also winds me up to think if mothers full time and dad is either working or only having access on certain days is he then
Occupation: PART TIME FATHER
I just don't get the occupation role as if you are a parent you are FULL TIME no matter how much you see your child you are still working behind the scenes sorting your own life out to be available for your child's.. I;e working longer days to ensure time off with children etc...
Just something I felt I had to get off my chest, anybody else have a tiny hatred like this?
And if anything it needs changing to
Occupation: PARENT
Once again we live in a world that believes in equality but not when it comes to parenting.
