Can anyone tell me what is the time limit of Child Contact Application ? My Fact Finding Hearing is in September which makes my application 4 years old.

My kid has already forgotten me .... any advice please ?

Hi,

This is from law site:

How long does a child arrangement order take? This depends on the factors within your case and whether there are any safeguarding concerns. There is no standard time frame and it can take between 6 to 12 months to achieve a final order

because of covid may be

two times judge was not available so hearing postponed

final factfinding hearing was in November 2022 and she didn't came as she was ILL so hearing postponed and next hearing is on September 2023 .. which makes 4 years of application ... its just a fact find hearing then how long order will server and when i will meet my son will be 2024 .....

any rights father has in this case please ?

@f4father hi. If you Google how long do child arrangement orders take, you will see lots of information.

Have you tried contacting your MP? They could intervene and complain to judiciary/courts system to try speed things up for your case.
