Actd - It's a very crucial topic that is at the heart of every dad's dreams. That ever elusive ability will soon be decoded and decyphered for all men to understand!

Imagine how many relationships would be saved if only dad had been washing the clothes all these years! 🙂

Hi There,
.
I have read the posts above and there are some points missing in order to get your clothes cleen.
.
I think you should get an old fashioned wash board and take your smalls down to the local stream, and clean them there, this will have a few benifits, the fresh air will do you the world of good, you can clean yourself whilst in the stream saving time and money on water, and if someone reports you for doing this you may be taking into social care and they will then clean your clothes for you so the end result will still be clean clothes :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p
.
.
Washing machine can be a pain, we always you a standard wash, with persil wash liquid in a ball inside the drum, set the temp to 40 and spin on the highest setting for getting the clothes as dry as possible.
.
Vanish is very good for pre soaking, we use the powder vanish and soak things like white work shirts in the sink before washing when they start to look a bit grey.

I used to use a standard setting every time when I was married, but since I've been divorced, I've actually become more adventurous with the settings I use on my washing machine 😀

Dear GTTS

Your idea is ingenious. Perhaps a mangle would also be useful? I don't know if you've heard of this new-fangled invention called electricity but it's very clever and can take lots of the hard work out of everyday tasks. I know from our previous conversations that you're quite old and stuck in your ways. There is also a very clever device called an iron but I hesitate suggesting this to you as you might apply it to the wrong wrinkles. May I suggest botox?

As for being taken into social care I must admit it sounds appealing. Will there be nurses?

Erm, thanks for the useful advice at the end.

Actd. I am in awe. You are like, whoa! If any women find out you're that advanced you'll be snapped up in no time. 🙂

I'm not expert in using washing machine. Normally, I separate white clothes and color clothes then laundry detergent and fabric conditioner at standard speed. I don't know if that is the right way to wash clothes in washing machine.

I have never tried the iron on skin approach, I just use gaffa tape behind the ears to pull the loose facial skin back :woohoo:
.
And I'm sure there will be plenty of nurses, but probably male ones Lol.
