Been a bit quiet of late in anticipation of my hearing today.

It was disappointing to say the least.

The judge bought the idea a 13month old baby should not have overnight contact as the mother claims to be breastfeeding and co-sleeping. She bought it hook line and sinker.

On the plus point I was allowed more contact 10-5 midweek and 10-5 every other weekend.

I now have to wait 4.5months till the final hearing........

Feel like I wanna cry

Hi Roy,

Good to hear there was more contact awarded and understand your frustration at not being allowed overnight contact given her claims of breastfeeding are untrue.

Think positive, enjoy the additional contact and try to settle yourself into a bit of routine until the final hearing.

Regards,

Dave

Hi There,

I agree, good to hear you have moved forward that is important through court, there is nothing worse than going to court and leaving no better or worse off than you were when you went in.

It must feel like a let down, but take it as a possitive, small steps forward towards the end goal will be much better in the long run than all at once and something going wrong to set everything back again.

I'm not saying it would if you had got what you wanted but this was your child gets no know you better before the overnights and 10-5 is a really good leghth of time to spend together.
