Hi.
I have a few post on here from things that have happened. Thank you for all the advise. I still have my case on going in a County Court for residency of my daughter.
I should have seen my daughter on the 29 May. Leading up to this day my daughters mum sent an email on the Saturday about 12.30 saying my daughter was not well, she was sick Friday night and Saturday Morning, If she was better she would bring her to me in the car. Sunday an email was sent by her at 07:45 saying my daughter had a temp and she won’t be bringing her. I asked on the Monday how she was. I was shocked to hear she was better in herself with a sore [censored]. Tuesday again I asked how she was and her mum said she was taking her to see her doctor.
My daughter was given Amoxicillin. The strange thing is it was dispensed at a Hospital, and not by a chemist. The other point is it was not even dispensed from the local hospitals but one about 40 miles from where she is supposed to be living.
I sent my daughters mum a text asking why it was dispensed at a hospital but got no reply. She did not even say anything when id roped my daughter off. Today I have asked for my solicitor to start getting some answers to some awkward questions. Why my daughter comes with scratches on her, why my daughter was coming in shoes a size and ½ to small. Why I am being prevent from knowing where she is living. Why I am being prevent from knowing what is happing at doctor appointments especially hospital appointments.
I am worried about my daughter and her care.
Regards

Hi

I would be inclined to ring social services to get their thoughts on the situation.

Hi Thanks for the advise

It would be helpful to contact Social Services but I am currently going through a complaints procedure. Information I provided Social Services was purposely passed directly to my daughters mum, often embellished, to such an extent that it has had a detrimental effect on my daughter’s welfare and contact with me.

On Monday I made a call to the NSPCC about 12:45. I did this because of my daughters welfare. Social Services are favouritism of my ex partner and reporting everything back to her directly. I also felt advice was needed for my own peace of mind. As already stated I thing I am looking into things too much. My concerns as a dad have always been that of my daughters welfare and her development.

Seeing my daughter on Sunday walking with difficulty in the shoes she came in presented more grounds to seek guidance. During the call, I was encouraged and able, without pressure and being anonymous, to explain the past months.

I started from the time I had taken my daughter to Hospital, I explained to the advisor the condition my ex partner was in, the condition of my daughters' carding with food stains, food in her hair, the thumb red and twice the size and the bruise on her leg. The advisor was surprised by Social Services not being more actively involved, until I had explained my ex partnes job. I did not mention anything about her depression during the call or her personal details. The advisor stated this sort of condition, they would consider is child neglect and that Social Services have acted in an unethical manner.

I moved on about the scratch marks on the top of her legs, the following week the scratches on her arm and lower back to her [censored] cheek. The week following further scratch marks on her ankle to the more recent cut on the sole of her foot. I raised the point that I had to cut my daughter nails because of the state they were in, the nail was that long it was bending over her toe. The NSPCC advisor has encouraged me to contact them again should my daughter come in this state again.

I informed the NSPCC advisor about the shoes being a size & ½ to small. That I had taken my daughter to Clarks where I had them measured. She was a size 5 ½ F. I said I had brought the correct size shoes but my ex partner complained they were to big and to take them back. I pointed out that last weekend my daughter came in a size 4 ½ G.

To cap of the call the NSPCC advisor said they were encouraged that someone was looking at the wellbeing of my daughter. The relief was huge on my side. They do feel there is a possible case of neglect and I should have contacted them before taking my daughter to hospital. The shoes part itself also forms possible child neglect and should be monitored further.

Now the hard part. How can I motivate a solicitor. The court case has been adjourned because of problems with CAFCASS. I have informed my solicitor of my actions talking to the NSPCC and asked my solicitor to push for overnight contact, enquire why my daughter was prescribed medication at a hospital 40 miles from where they live when there are two within closer proximity. Whey my ex partner continues to neglect my daughter by sending her in shoes to small amongst other things.

I would have said going up one size in shoes is quite normal, as for going to a non local hospital - it could read either way. A lot depends on knowing your ex, we do tend to get a fixed view in our heads. If your ex has depression or something similar, socail services may make allowances, if the child is in no danger. Long term is the important thing, getting on with your ex is very important. Especially is care ends up getting split. My ex has problems with my daughter, and I work, so I just encourage my daughter to stay as much as posible.
