Food poisoning sounds about right although I'm not a doctor. The cramps and diarrhoea would be symptoms and the headaches could be caused from dehydration caused by the diarrhoea (when you are dehydrated your meninges shrinks which causes headaches, or so I seem to remember from researching the constant headaches I used to get).
Just a friendly tip, never eat too many nuts in one go - the pain is incredible - your stomach can't digest the nuts and they congeal together which results in a blockage in your intestines. It's really sad as I love a nice big bag of dry roasted peanuts.
I'd still get it checked out by someone who knows what they're talking about though - if you're not aware of anything that could have caused your symptoms such as uncooked meat or dodgy mushrooms it could be something more serious.

Hi There,
.
I would go to the GP, There have been some cases recently of infections that need to be looked at, someone who works for me, had a similar issue a few weeks ago, he had picked up something that I can't prenounce and when diagnosed by the doctor, he was given meds, they did blood tests and found his infection levels through the roof, My wife is a trained hematology nurse and when I told her his levels she was shocked. I also remember having something similar years ago, I would be worse in the mornings and after I had been loose and thrown up, i'd be fine all day, but then it would be the same the next morning, so after a week I went to the GP and I had picked up Giardia which is a parasite in the intestines.
.
There is a good chance you don't have anything like that but it's best to get it checked out.

If you're back to normal today then all good but if not, I really would consider a visit to the GP just to get checked out and be on the safe side.
