Yeah I think you may be right - was a fantastic goal by Crouch (another Liverpool reject!)

Great result for your lot last night. Got revenge on Chelsea for the cup final - you must be pleased ?

It was a great result although Chelsea were poor - thought Terry had a nightmare!!

Makes me wonder what could have been - our best result on game 37!!

A Liverpool fan put on twitter "Fantastic result for the boys - that should kick start our season!!!"

So at last the season is over and we haven't moved forwards

Dalglish has one season to sort it out - or else the patience will run out

I am signing off for the summer and will be back in August with a new thread, renewed hope and hopefully something to shout about

Have a great summer

Rumour doing the rounds on twitter is that Kenny may be getting the bullet (I stress it's a rumour)

Apparently Liverpool are interested in Roberto Martínez taking over but are now very worried that Aston Villa may contact him about their vacancy. So want to get in first.

How would you feel about that Super Mario? I think Martínez could be a great manager for Liverpool.

I have a black armband on as I type - very sad news that King Kenny has been sacked however the truth is we have spent the best part of £100 million for a group of players who barely score 20 goals between them

So the shortlist apparently contains:
Fabio Capello
Roberto Martinez
Pep Guardiola

Brendon Rodgers has declined

I hope that that whoever it is brings success and challenges for the league title - 22 years is too long!!
